Walt Woerheide, Ph.D., ChFC®, CFP®, MRFC, has been at The American College for 14 years, and served as VP of Academics and Dean for 12 of those years. He holds the Frank Engle Distinguished Chair in Economic Security Research and is a Professor of Investments. Dr. Woerheide earned his Ph.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Washington University, and has a B.A. from Brown University.
The mission of the MCB is to provide an ongoing benefit to the general public by granting and recertifying the MRFC credential and upholding the credential as a standard of excellence of ethical, valued, competent and client focused financial consultants.
Barry is the Executive Vice President of Money Concepts with national and international responsibilities. Barry Dayley has worked in the financial planning and wealth management business since 1981. In 1985 he received a request from Jack Walsh, the founder of Money Concepts, to serve as a consultant for Money Concepts and CUNA Mutual to develop a financial planning program for credit unions nationwide.
Path to MRFC
The MCB is a separate entity established to oversee the MRFC Certification Program. The MCB operates independently from the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) to establish and uphold high standards of competence for the MRFC and its credential holders
Julie Friend is an entrepreneur, business consultant and speaker. She currently resides in New Milford, CT and works for The Network Support Company focused on process improvement and business intelligence. Her business career has spanned more than twenty-five years. She has founded several successful companies in different industries including computers and technology, staff training and development, fitness facilities and business consulting.
Paradigm Life, Salt Lake City, UT. Mr. Martin specializes in the Cash Flow Banking concept through Life Insurance and has previously worked as a financial planner for a large brokerage firm holding several key positions. Of Mexican-American heritage and thus bilingual, he has spent many years assisting and educating within the Hispanic community. He hopes to help drive a financial consulting organization that appeals to the upcoming generation of financial advisors.
Represents a quarter century of experience in financial services. Ms. Fallica served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Professional Financial Consultants as Vice President of Education and is a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
